My guest for this #TeaBreakTalk is Andy Wightman. We got together to explore how we begin to Reimagine a Highlands & Islands that works for everyone. We touched on the need for a radical change in how we do economics and how we put economic and decision-making power into people's hands.
Andy Wightman is a Member of the Scottish Parliament for Lothian and is the Scottish Green Party spokesperson on local government, housing, communities, and land reform. Over the past 20 years, his work has focussed on land tenure, land ownership, land reform, and more recently community land rights, governance and the hegemonic dimensions of land relations. He is author of a number of publications including The Poor Had No Lawyers (2010).
