Day #145 | I Finally Made It To Santiago!!! On My Camino Toward a New Life | Gideon Nielsen

November 13th - 2020 - From O Pedrouzo to Santiago (20km) - Total walked (about): 3333km (Pilgrim Office Said 3360km).

The day was finally here, when I walked toward Santiago and that actually being the destination for the day. Up until then it had "only" been toward Santiago but today was arrival day!

After 145 days, close to five months thousands of kilometers and through 5 countries I made it to The Pilgrim Capital of The World, Santiago!

THANK YOU, so much for ALL the support throughout this journey.. but know... this is NOT the final destination.

Tomorrow the journey continues toward the coast of Muxia and The End Of The World at Finisterre!

On June 7th 2020, I was out for a walk around my home in Denmark during a period where I was processing a breakup. About nothing had really inspired me for more than a month, of what to do with my life, once again, but the kick of inspiration of walking from Denmark to Santiago in Spain hit me and made me smile genuinely, which felt good and right.

So here I am walking and while I am walking with an open mind and see what happens and that I am okay whether I make it to Santiago or not, I am walking toward a new life what now is a blank canvas... for love and inner peace...
