The Danish royal family has announced they will cut off the Queen's grandchildren's yearly allowance of taxpayer money once they come of age saying only the direct heir to the throne will continue to receive a state-funded salary. Currently, Queen Margrethe II’s eight grandchildren are all supported by the state financially. However, politicians have recently called into question each individual's eligibility.
