This is day three of our summer road trip in June before the coronavirus cases surged in July. We traveled safely by keeping our distance from others, maintaining good sanitation, and we were wearing masks (off-camera). Again, as the disclaimer states, this video was filmed on June 16th before Gov. Newsom mandated face coverings in California(6/18/20). ANYWHO… we drove for five hours from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara. It was a very scenic drive and although it was a bit foggy, we enjoyed being at the wharf and most of all enjoyed exploring Solvang, the “Denmark of CA”. We stayed in a cozy cottage at the New Haven located in the danish village. All of the bakeries, iconic windmills, and small shops are not that far away from each other. You could also buy a ton of really yummy authentic danish cookies. I would highly recommend putting this calm town on your travel bucket list ;). Enjoy the vlog! Stay safe, healthy, and happy!
