A view of the beautiful landscape surrounding Gyrstinge Lake. The lake was previously used as a primary water source for Copenhagen, but the various pumping stations and inlets have now been abandoned.
Relatively few people visit here, so the area is great for undisturbed walks around the lake, exploring the pumping facilities, or the adjoining forests.
If you plan to visit here, please be aware that some areas of the lake has been marked as protected areas for the bird- and wildlife, so check the local maps.
