In this episode of Travel Man Dan I leave Copenhagen, Denmark by way of The Magic Globe and I transport to Riga, Latvia!! After landing in an unusual spot I gather myself and take a walk around the historic and stunning Old Town Riga.

This is the 1st video of a to part series on the exploration of Old Town Riga.

This episode was so much fun to film! Because It was wonderful to get back to Latvia and see all the familiar sites that I remember so vividly. This place is special and the energy in Old Town Riga is magical, you feel like you went back in time because of the epic architecture surrounding you, and what I love about it is that it is very peaceful and full of wonder.

In this episode you'll see me waltz up and town the old cobblestone roads of Old Riga looking at the amazing houses and buildings that are so unique to Latvia. I stop off and show you The House of Blackheads building and it is like nothing you've seen before, an architectural marvel. I make a pit stop at a fascinating shop that sells traditional Latvian gifts. And I even run into some friends of fine along the streets of this old city!
