The incident I share, is just an example that I feel most comfortable sharing publicly. I don't feel the need to justify my experiences with harassment to others, especially not to strangers on the internet. But I think we need to see more experiences from "regular people" in order to understand that harassment can happen to anyone. I didn't feel comfortable speaking up in Denmark between 2016-2018, because when I did tell others, they downplayed what I was experiencing. I also felt that there was no clear system for me to report something, without it backfiring onto my own career.
