History of the building
• 1909-1912: Construction took place of the headquarters of the danish postal service.
• 2012: In November i filmed these two Titan elevators for the first time.
• 2016: The property was sold to Nordic Choice Hotels to be converted into a five star luxury hotel.
• 2017: In June i visited this place with DieselDucy, just before the renovation work started.
• 2020: On 1. July, Hotel Villa Copenhagen opened its doors to the public!

The hotel is not yet 100% complete, there is still some work to be done on the upper floors, as can be seen in the video.
Several brand new KONE elevators, which i have yet to film, have been added to the building. These two beautiful old Titan treasures are still intact and working, what an AMAZING surprise!

If you go to Copenhagen, i strongly encourage you to visit this hotel. The owners have done a PHENOMENAL job renovating this building with the utmost care and respect for its history and architecture. The new glass roof over the courtyard looks absolutely stunning aswell. This hotel is absolute top class.
