(idiomatic, vulgar, slang) A metaphor for something exceedingly rare or, more likely, non-existent, for example; operational lifts in their original condition with no modernisations in a public place.

From the expression "rare as rocking horse sh*t", based on the observation that rocking horses do not produce faeces.

I still think that a derelict lift is better than a modernised working one! :D
