Denmark almost lost one of our players and we lost our two first games just afterwards, but then…
Correction: it says heart attack, but it was in fact cardiac arrest, which was the reason that almost every dane was shaking in fear of losing Eriksen, while we watched him getting CPR on the field. We might have lost that game against Finland (who were both helpful, respectful and generally showed great empathy), but we won Eriksen’s life back and we’re all happy that he is now alive, stable and well.
There are more important things at stake and we all felt that, that night.
