Travel to the Philippines
Effective 30 December 2020 until 15 January 2021, entry restrictions have been imposed on foreign nationals arriving or transiting in Philippines from United Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark, Ireland, Germany, Australia, Iceland, South Africa, Italy, Israel, Spain, Netherlands, Lebanon, Canada, Sweden, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. All passengers already in transit from the foregoing countries and all those who are qualified to enter the Philippines as mentioned in this update but have been to the said 20 countries within 14 days immediately preceding arrival in the Philippines shall undergo a COVID‑19 PCR test and shall be subject to a mandatory 14 day quarantine.
Visa issuances and endorsements or exemptions provided by the government for any passengers passing to the said restricted countries are deemed suspended/invalidated effective 00:01 Philippine Time 30 December 2020 until 15 January 2021.
Exemption for entry restriction are allowed for below categories:
Filipino citizens (Valid Philippines Passport holders or are dual citizens), their spouses and children.
OFW’s and Returning Overseas Filipinos shall be quarantined at government designated quarantine facilities for 14 days. All quarantine facility accommodations will be shouldered by the government.
Effective 24 December 2020, all passengers coming from or transiting through the UK, including those with history of travel to the UK within 14 days prior to arrival to the Philippines, are temporarily restricted from entering the country. Filipinos (Valid Philippine Passport or are dual citizens) may be accepted but shall undergo a 14 day quarantine at New Clark City upon arrival.
Note: All passengers that arrive before 12:01 AM of 24 December 2020, shall not be subject to the restriction, but shall be required to undergo mandatory completion of the 14‑day quarantine at New Clark City regardless of COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test results.
If you are travelling to the Philippines, you are required to take a COVID‑19 PCR test on arrival and wait for your test results at accredited quarantine hotels.
Travel eligibility
Visa on arrival for eligible nationalities is suspended and international connections/transit are no longer permitted.
COVID‑19 testing requirements
Passengers travelling to the Philippines must take a COVID‑19 RT‑PCR test on arrival and undergo quarantine procedures in approved facilities while awaiting for the test results. The cost of quarantine accommodations shall be shouldered by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) for land‑based OFWs and by the local manning agency and/or Maritime Industry Authority for sea‑based OFWs. OFWs must present their Overseas Employment Card (OEC) or Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) card at the time of check‑in for validation.
Passengers, particularly Non‑OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers), may undergo the required COVID‑19 RT‑PCR swab test at the accredited private testing centres established at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at their own cost (approximately USD 80 or PHP 4,000).
For returning residents (Non‑Overseas Filipino workers) arriving in Manila, swabbing arrangements must be pre‑registered by accessing the Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory.
Quarantine
Non‑OFWs, namely Overseas Filipinos (OFs) returning home can choose from among the approved quarantine facilities at their own cost. Before arriving at the airport, passengers must also complete the Case Investigation form, the Affidavit of Undertaking form, and the Health Declaration card.
Other information
It is mandatory to wear a face mask and face shield within the terminal and all public transportation in the Philippines.
Travel to Cebu

If you are travelling to Clark, you must have a confirmed booking at an accredited quarantine hotel.
Quarantine
Non Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) travelling to Clark (CRK) must have advanced booking at any of the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) accredited hotels.

Non‑OFWs, seafarers, and foreign nationals must register using e‑CIF and provide the required information on the Clark International Airport website.
