474 kids from 30 countries enrolled in “How to make money. Starting and running a business by learning from global companies.” The session follows the format I use at NYU. Students pick a global company to learn how to make business decisions and start a small business.
This group picked Procter & Gamble, McDonald's, Nike, Estee Lauder, Berkshire Hathaway, and Disney.
The youngest participants were in their first year of high school; others were completing their master's degree. The session was free and open to everyone.
During the session, they learned about market research, pricing, foreign exchange, and financial metrics. This is part I.
