Are you considering a trip to Thailand. Would you choose Phuket Sandbox or Samui plus. These two schemes definitely haver similarities but they are definitely some differences. Phuket is Thailand's largest island and Koh Samui is the second largest. These two islands are leading the way with regards to the goal Thailand reopening fully for tourism by the middle of October.
Phuket began welcoming back vaccinated international arrivals on the 1st of July and Koh Samui is set do do the same starting from the 15th July
I want to start by highlighting everything you must prepare before you travel;-
A passport with at least 6 months validity;
Must have been in an approved country for 21 days or more before travelling to Thailand ( show countries list)
Been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) or the World Health Organisation (WHO);
Have booked and purchased return air travel;
Have booked and paid for accommodation, and required RT-PCR test/s at an ALQ or SHA Plus hotel;
Have purchased medical insurance with COVID-19 treatment coverage of at least US$100,000;
Have tested negative for COVID-19 no longer than 72 hours before travel.
