This is my first time to Lombok. Lombok is an island in central Indonesia. If you know where Bali is, Lombok is right next door to it. After being here in Lombok, I am optimistic that Lombok can grow in to a big international travel and tourist destination just like its neighbour Bali. On this trip me and my father @nas.chairul departed from Jakarta to Lombok. We stayed everyday in Senggigi, Lombok for 5 nights @montanapremiersenggigi , a very nice stay, very friendly and nice breakfast dishes. For transportation in Lombok we rented an avanza car and drove my self, it costed Rp 300.000 a day, I really like driving there, the roads and traffic are good in Lombok.
The places that we visited are : Praya International Airport, Senggigi beach, Montana hotel Senggigi, Aruna hotel Senggigi, Praya, Taman Wisata Pusuk Sembalun, Senaru Traditional Village, Bayan Ancient Mosque, Batu Layar place of the first Moslem Syekh in Senggigi, Salero Bundo Padang restaurant in Mataram City owned by my relative.
