Supporters of Denmark's men's national football team swarmed the Rembrandtplein square in central Amsterdam on Saturday ahead of their team's match against Wales in the Euro 2020 championship.

Dozens of Denmark supporters were seen chanting and cheering while wearing national colours and flags.

The match, which ended 4-0 to the Danes, was particularly well attended in the Dutch capital as the face-off took place at the Amsterdam Arena, home ground of AFC Ajax.

Denmark's match against Wales was also the first game of the round of 16, with the victory having secured an entry for Denmark into the quarter-finals for the first time in 17 years.
