Believed as the one of the oldest hotel in Jakarta, originally established in 1962 to provide rooms for 1962 Asian Games in Jakarta. All the elevators are replaced from old OTIS, since Hotel Indonesia is one of the properties that being renovated (because Hotel Indonesia is one of the National Cultural Heritage (Cagar Budaya)), that now managed by Kempinski.
All of the elevators are (Xizi) OTIS. On lobby floor, hall indicators are Vander (looks like Schindler, or like Blok M Square's freight elevator). The rest of the floors using Series 3 hall lanterns (and chimes!). Sometimes the Series 3 chimes heard inside elevator (when somebody call the elevator). Chimes inside elevators using 2000s Xizi Otis chimes.
For the pool-access elevators, it is a GeN2 MRL, one of the highest in Indonesia. No wonder the distance from 16th to 17th floor is quite tall, since its 17th floor is equivalent to Menara BCA/Kempinski Private Residence's 11th floor (actually 13th floor, if combined with mall's floor numbering). It has double entrances, the back door is for pool access. Idk if that shafts is available since 1962, but I think it is original.
There are more elevators, on the Ganesha Wing (serving L, 1-3, 5-8), and Basement-access (serving L, B). But I don't filmed them because lack of time. It was very busy since it was filmed on Weekends.
