The Anti-Corruption Foundation of Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny published a video made in the guest room of the hotel Xander in Tomsk, where Navalny stayed before the flight to Moscow. The footage was released on Thursday on Navalny's official Instagram page.
Bottles filled with water, left by anti-corruption activist in the guestroom during check-out, could be seen in the footage.
According to the post, the video was made on August 20, after the news that Navalny's health had deteriorated.
"It was the bottle from the Tomsk guest room, where the German laboratory found Novichok evidence. And after that two more laboratories, which Navalny's tests, confirmed that he was poisoned by it. Now we understand, it was made prior to his check-out and way to the airport," the post says.
Navalny arrived in Berlin aboard a medical plane on August 22, after falling ill during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow on August 20. The original plane had been forced to make an emergency landing in Omsk where Navalny was rushed to hospital. The hospital in Omsk which initially treated Navalny had dismissed the possibility of poisoning.
