It is often tempting to stay in a tried and true chain hotel when traveling, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. However, a night in a boutique inn can become more than just a place to sleep; it can become an integral part of the travel experience.

In attempt to make the boutique hotel experience less of a gamble, we will be trying out boutique hotels that offer more than a place to crash. The first one up is the SIXTY hotel in fashionable SoHo.
