???? The place where glaciers calve into a lake is Jökulsárlón glacier. Google it.

???? The drive is 5 hours one-way, not "3-4 hours" as I said in the episode. Doing this all in a day trip from Reykyavik would be stressful, especially with all the cool attractions along the way. It would be better to sleep in the car near the Glacier or perhaps a hotel in one of the coastal towns like Hof or Vik.
????️ I mention visiting in October, but September is probably the latest you should go, due to the limited daylight in winter. Go in June/July for maximum daylight (but invisible aurora).
????️ So the best option is staying in Reykjavik on your first and last nights and in the outback for the other nights.
